I’m J.D. Wilder, and it takes a lot to shame me, but we’re about to see where you draw the line.
Gabrielle Duval once belonged to me.
And like it or not, she’ll be mine again.
In a world where money, power and corruption rule, I’m prepared to do whatever it takes.
Although nothing with that woman is ever easy.
But believe me when I tell you, I’ll enjoy every minute of the fight.
Pick-up a copy of Depraved today, and let Eva Charles take you on a deliciously decadent journey. Buckle up.
**Those who are sensitive to dark storylines, please proceed cautiously!**
This is a good mess that you need dive in and unravel for yourself. As this story hinges on the Wilder family and their secrets that control this world we find ourselves in . Ones that J.D. the hero is determined to figure out and reveal to the world the secrets that have destroyed his life and the girl he loved, Gabriella
This book reunites these two together after fifteen years apart and could be considered a second chance romance given the circumstances. They have grown and become the people that they are. J.D. has become broken and harden by the world that surrounds him. There no chance for emotions until Gabriella pushes his button .
Their reunion forms the basis for the book and we follow the story as it unfolds. It’s well written and paced around and Gabriella is thrown into the deep end when she forced to interact with the family she thought that destroyed her.
She has built her backbone and it helps as this book delves into the dark side and J.D. literally pushes her buttons. J.D. tries to walk over her with his blasé behaviour but she manages to work around it and delves into the dark mess that this family exists in.
To the degree of darkness this isn’t is the craziness I have read in some books but it’s nice darkness that simmers and crescendos at the right moment that brings it all together.
