There something about the Scottish and Skirt was something different. I racked my minds if I have come across a character like him before and I haven’t. With his best friend being Poodle who had a tragic background and there being a pattern with the members.
There is layers to this man and when he finally gets his voice in this novel. There is a man seeking revenge and redemption. He wants to save his family and Dawn doesn’t equate in his plan. He is surprised by how much Dawn affects him
She makes him think about his past and look toward the future. She makes him fight for his future and this Scottish man has fallen hook line and sinker. It’s a different take on what seems now a classic hero with delightful results.
