Vengeance and destruction are all he has left.
Lianna Mercier has everything. She’s beautiful, well-educated, her father is rich, powerful — and she works for him. The perfect little princess, raised to be just like daddy.
But it’s all a lie.
A bloody, screwed up lie, and David Gethen is about to tear it all down and destroy Lianna in the process. He wants revenge, he wants to finish the plan his father started years ago — but after he takes her, after he tortures her, he begins to realize just how wrong he may have been.
Publisher’s Note: This book is a dark romance that contains intense scenes, graphic language, and capture fantasy which may be disturbing for some readers. Please choose another book if this is not your cup of tea!
Lianna has the perfect world to everyone. However looks can be deceiving and this book shows how the truth can be very dark and destruction when someone reveals all in the name of revenge.
Destruction is told in third person, meaning we feel the pain and the craziness that unfold. It’s supposed to be dark and twist but it doesn’t exactly come of convincingly. As we are told so much by the perspective this book is in .
Lianna is whisked away from the comfortable world she knows ,into a world that supposed to deprive her of will and senses. She supposed to be controlled and wanton. But she still fights wanting to figure why she is a pawn in this game.
The heroine Lianna is definitely numb with the truth. She honestly questionable with the decisions she makes after the climax. It’s dubious consent with this book and it’s not pretty. The story is intriguing one of revenge but it doesn’t given the allure of dark romance that I hoped for.
