Review: Revved by A.M. Mahler

When Simon Weber left Maine for Grayson Falls, New Hampshire, he never expected the move to be permanent. A successful web designer, image was Simon’s life. He had a very specific idea of his dream girl in his head. She would be put together, spotless, the quintessential girly-girl. Then he met Maggie Dalton.

As Willis-Reilly Racing’s lead engineer, Maggie was singularly focused on one thing. Work. Her fingertips were stained, and she wore engine grease on her face like other girls wore blush. Her life consisted of work and sleep. When Simon Weber comes to work for WRR her work-life cycle is thrown into chaos.

Experience the wonder of falling in love as two introverts’ worlds collide and their new relationship is tested when tragedy strikes.

Rating: 4 out of 5.

This was adorable awkward in a good way romance between a mechanic and a nerd who have seem to have similar problems when they come to dating until they find their perfect match.

Simon is more  at home web designing and living with his family as a small town boy with city hipster look.

And Maggie is  more comfortable being under a car and working for Willis-Reilly and living grease monkey lifestyle. Until they start working together and Maggie cause Simon to literally loss it at the sight of her breasts. Sound like a bad comedy, right.

However this author is a genius, she knows how to entertain and these two are endearing. Revved was sweet and wholesome. Both of these characters are bit lost when it comes to dating and so their reactions to situations are not what always you expect.

With Simon his world is his family which I instantly loved. Those guys are everything to him and his relationships with them are sweet. These guys live for Uncle Simon and I loved that Maggie  accepted his role with out seconding guess him. She  well thought and maybe not the girl that Simon dreamt off.  Instead she had talent and a gift for helping that was all that Simon needed really.

The second half of the story is what drove home for me. I loved the small town Grayson Falls but the story was what kept me going wanting to know that insta- love can handle anything. It’s sweet with a little drama but it’s a fun book that I enjoyed.
