Release Date: July 21

A sexy arranged marriage romance from USA Today bestselling author K.A. Linde…

I signed on the dotted line. A marriage contract to seal my union with the devil.

I thought I knew what I was doing. His money and name were mine for the taking. But Camden Percy always gets exactly what he wants. And what he wants is me—my body, my obedience, my surrender.

He wants to break me.

But I’m Katherine Van Pelt. I’ll never break. I’ll never beg. I’ll never give in.

Except I promised him one more thing—a baby. A Percy heir.

There’s no way out of this one. Either I comply or lose everything. Do I risk the husband I’m just learning to love or is this my breaking season?

Despite having read a number of Linde’s works. I don’t think I have ever read one of her contemporaries. That has  changed after reading this one and I can see why I have been missing out and need to read her contemporaries.

These two characters were instantly addicting despite their dislike for each other. It’s  a game to them. Who will break first and come crashing down. It’s a game they have played for a year. Each tied to their past relationship they don’t want to give up.

However they are tied by a piece of paper that keeps them together. Married in the eyes of law and whilst both of them have regrets about the decision they have made.  Katherine is actually not the villain she has made herself out to be. Neither of them are the villains they present themselves to be.

Katherine has this energy around here that made you want to know will she break and let Camden have his wicked ways with her. They feel something and this story is complicated.  They won’t admit it thought. Their families have done a number on them both and  this book is their redemption to say the least.

Camden was painted even before I met him as a devil. A dark soul who would take his pound of flesh  in order to get what he wants. Katherine had me all convinced. But this man, is what I want in a hero. He is what Katherine says but there is so much more to this man.

Even without reading the previous books as this stand alone, I knew there was something about Katherine and Camden. They have a history that has led up to this point and this book is the turning point.   It’s a journey of redeeming yourself  and finding the way to happiness. It’s not a over night success but Linde has made these two one of my favourite couples.  She made it believable that these two could come together and break in order to find their happiness.
