As a highly decorated soldier in the US Army, Roxy had always accepted that her job was dangerous. Kidnapped by intergalactic slavers, Roxy and her fellow soldiers find themselves sold to a cruel and heartless owner who plans on using them as gladiators in an underground fighting ring in the Bel’Tan Galaxy.
Kadothian Warriors Cormac and Nosa have searched their entire lives for their Matriarch. She’s the one woman born to love them, the only woman that can save their souls from the madness. When they find out that Roxy is their bride they begin a slow seduction of the prickly Earth woman. Roxy was betrayed by her ex-husband in the worst way, and refuses to even consider a relationship with not only one man, but two. When they discover their alyah has been taken by slavers, Cormac and Nosa will do anything to save her. Even if it means infiltrating the fighting ring deep in enemy territory holding Roxy captive.
Warning- This story is set in the Bel’Tan galaxy where polyamorous relationships are the norm and love in all of its forms is accepted including M/M, M/M/F, M/M/M/F sexual situations. Basically if you don’t like hot dudes kissing hot dudes, this may not be the series for you.

It’s been worth the wait to get this book.  Beloved readers of this series will know  Roxy. The brave fearless older sister of Casey who wasn’t going to let anything stop her  in her tracks. The soldier who had a chip on her shoulder thanks to her past.  A past that had been revealed but the future was to be determined.

This character development is one that has been building and honestly it was worth the wait. Mayburn played to the strengths of her character.  She determined herself as a person that you don’t want to mess with. We saw glimpses but this Roxy readers discover is one that takes numbers and ready to fire guns blazing.

Exactly what this series needed, a wakeup call to signal the arrival of Roxy and her conquering her part of the empire so to speak.

This was needed given how things were with her mates. Her mates whilst known were ones that you couldn’t help admire.  Their story may have started in previous books but  their story was finally revealed and add to the development of this story.  It allowed exploration of terms forgotten by time and culture awareness.

It seemed like it was a whirlwind of a story, however it was typical Mayburn fashion.  The story had it’s moments and readers will definitely love the charm of this story. It standalone but it’s definitely a family affair and opens up more possibilities . It’s interesting how far this series has come over the years yet still only has taken a few short months so far.   Mayburn’s fourth instalment was enjoyable then ever and  readers sure will be clamouring and hoping for a new book soon.

Whilst  some elements had been revealed in previous instalment, this book felt a  fresh perspective on those said elements which were key to this story for those familiar with this series so far.  Regardless of those elements, this book was everything readers will be hoping for.

Roxy was no surprise, she was exactly how she was described in previous instalments. Her story acted as a bridge in some ways, bring the past and present together , allowing old and new readers a chance to discover this universe all over again and learn more about the universe. .

It’s been a while since the last book , however the bondmate series has only gotten stronger since the break between books.  Mayburn made it all the wait for this book.

With over fifty published books, Ann is Queen of the Castle to her wonderful husband and three sons in the mountains of West Virginia. In her past lives she’s been an Import Broker, a Communications Specialist, a US Navy Civilian Contractor, a Bartender/Waitress, and an actor at the Michigan Renaissance Festival. She also spent a summer touring with the Grateful Dead-though she will deny to her children that it ever happened.
From a young age Ann has been fascinated by myths and fairytales, and the romance that was often the center of the story. As Ann grew older and her hormones kicked in, she discovered trashy romance novels. Great at first, but she soon grew tired of the endless stories with a big wonderful emotional buildup to really short and crappy sex. Never a big fan of purple prose, throbbing spears of fleshy pleasure and wet honey pots make her giggle, she sought out books that gave the sex scenes in the story just as much detail and plot as everything else-without using cringe worthy euphemisms. This led her to the wonderful world of Erotic Romance, and she’s never looked back.
Now Ann spends her days trying to tune out cartoons playing in the background to get into her ‘sexy space’ and has accepted that her Muse has a severe case of ADD.
Ann loves to talk with her fans, as long as they realize she’s weird and that sarcasm doesn’t translate well via text.
