I’m the kid your parents warned you about…

Eighteen months in prison or three years at Oceanside Academy.
Reform school has met its match in me, even if it is full of young offenders. Thieves, graffiti writers, drug runners and other petty criminals reside within the walls, and I’m just like them.
But what they didn’t tell me was that I’d be one of only a handful of girls in a hoard full of boys. It’ll take more than just street smarts to keep my wits about me.
Everyone here has a chip on their shoulders, and I’m no different. Mine’s one of the biggest, that’s why they call me Asia because I have one as large as a continent.
Rules or not, these bad boys are about to discover I’ve earned my label for reason…
I’m the biggest misfit of them all.

**Delinquent is book one of this new gritty, contemporary reverse harem academy trilogy for 17+ readers and deals with adult themes and some subjects you may find upsetting. Contains foul language and sexual scenes**

After the ending of Paige’s previous series, readers were probably left with some answers. Paige had some cameos and left everyone intrigued with Asia.

Needless to say, I was one of those readers. As I cracked open this book , my  mind wondered to those moments. Whilst not fresh , they still remain important in my mind. Who is Asia?

Who is the young woman who wormed her  way onto those pages.?
Delinquent offers those answers.

Delinquent tells of  humble beginnings of a young woman who was dealt an unfair hand at life and now is at a crossroads. Forced to take a path she doesn’t want to take. Asia is  no shy wallflower. She is everything Paige paints her to be.

She isn’t afraid and she is loyal to fault. However  the Academy is another kettle of fish.  This book  gets gritty as Paige’s last series. However is on  a different level. Asia doesn’t know how to do afraid and this book showcases the worst of society.

There are plenty of heart pounding moments and Paige really lets reads get a feel for the characters. Whilst there are obvious favourites, it doesn’t seem that the guys haven’t made their case yet.

After this instalment, I say readers will be left with more questions than answers. Paige has return with a bang with this new series.

Academy of Misfits is a raw and honest as it gets. It maybe fictional but it offers real portrayal  of  society at it’s lowest points.
